1. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not legally required to do so.

2. Overview

Personal data is processed on this website when you visit it (hosting, server log files and access statistics, section 4) and when you contact us (sections 5 and 6).

Apart from the aggregate access statistics provided by our hosting provider (section 4), this website does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising services, error monitoring, newsletters, user accounts or payment functions. All content, including fonts, scripts, images and videos, is delivered from our own web space; the pages do not load content from third-party servers.

3. Cookies and Storage on Your Device

This website does not set cookies and does not store information on your device or access information already stored on it (for example local storage or session storage). Consent under Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) is therefore not required, and no consent banner is shown.

4. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the website, STRATO processes the data required to deliver the pages to your browser, in particular your IP address and the requests your browser sends. STRATO acts as our processor on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Security log files. STRATO records the IP addresses of visitors in log files in order to detect and prevent attacks on the website and on its servers. These IP addresses are stored for a maximum of seven days. This seven-day period applies only to this security storage of IP addresses.

Website log files and statistics. In addition, STRATO keeps website log files in which IP addresses are anonymised. They contain the pages requested, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, the referring website, the browser used and the domain of the visitor's network provider (not the full IP address). These logs are kept for up to six weeks. STRATO uses them to generate aggregate access statistics (such as page views and visits), which we can view in our hosting account. We cannot identify individual visitors from them.

Purpose and legal basis. The processing serves to deliver the website, to operate it securely and reliably, in particular to detect, prevent and investigate attacks and faults, and to understand how the website is used in order to maintain and improve it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and error-free operation of the website and in its improvement. In balancing the interests involved, we have considered that only the data technically required is processed, that IP addresses are kept for a maximum of seven days for security purposes and are otherwise only available in anonymised form, that the data is not used to create profiles or combined with other data sources, and that visitors reasonably expect this processing when they access a website. Your interests therefore do not override our legitimate interest.

5. Contact Form

If you send us a message using the contact form, we process the data you enter: in-game name, real name, email address, primary game and your message, together with the language version of the form you used. All fields must be completed to send the form. The data is not stored on the web server; it is sent to us as an email.

Purpose and legal basis. We use the data to process your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Where your enquiry concerns a possible representation by us, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract); otherwise it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest being to answer enquiries addressed to us.

Recipients. The email is sent from STRATO's servers (see section 4) to our address hello@teal.management. Our email service is Google Workspace, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as our processor on the basis of Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, which forms part of our Google Workspace agreement. Messages to hello@teal.management are delivered via a Google Workspace group to the mailboxes of our team members at teal.management and are only accessible to them. The group does not keep a separate message archive. If Google's mail servers cannot be reached, STRATO's mail relay acts as a backup mail server for our domain and forwards the message.

International transfer. Google may also process data in the USA through Google LLC. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, Google's data processing terms include the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

Storage period. Enquiries that do not lead to a representation agreement are deleted twelve months after our last contact. If an enquiry leads to a representation agreement, the correspondence is kept as business correspondence for the statutory retention period of six years (§ 147 AO) and then deleted.

6. Contact by Email

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, the content of your message and any other data you provide, for the purposes and on the legal bases described in section 5. Messages to info@teal.management are likewise delivered via Google Workspace to the mailboxes of our team members, as described in section 5. The storage period described in section 5 applies accordingly.

7. Links to Other Websites

This website contains ordinary links to external websites, for example Instagram, X, Leaguepedia, Liquipedia, lolpros.gg, Twitch and YouTube. These are not embedded: no data is transmitted to these providers when our pages load. Only when you click a link does your browser connect to the respective provider, whose privacy policy then applies.

8. Your Rights

Where the legal requirements are met, you have the right to:

• access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR, see section 9)
• withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

10. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is:

11. No Obligation to Provide Data, No Automated Decisions

You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to provide personal data. Without the data requested in the contact form, however, we cannot process your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

12. Data Security

This website is transmitted exclusively over a TLS-encrypted connection (https). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
